I hope your all having a lovely day today and are ready for a great week. I have always wanted to do a post like this where I get a recipe from Pinterest that I like, give it a try and show you guys how it turned out instead of just pinning it and never getting a chance to make it. Also I am planning on making it a thing on here whereby I get to try recipes on Pinterest weekly. During the weekend, I bought some apples thinking that my son would snack on them but sadly, that never happened. That’s why this one bowl apple cake (Pinterest try) was the perfect recipe for me.
NOTE: I have made this recipe twice already and I loved it only this time I changed two things, the temperature, the number of eggs and my baking dish is rectangular. That’s it.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1¾ cups of sugar
- 6 apples
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 2 heaping teaspoons cinnamon
- ½ a cup of oil
- 3 eggs
There’s no point of me going through the method since you can see all that from the original pin and plus just as the title says, it really is a one bowl apple cake. All I wanted to show you guys is that I managed to make it look somewhat like the original and that the recipe works and is totally and utterly delicious. The best part is that you can eat it with some ice cream on the side and it keeps well for a week, that is if it stays that long since we finish ours in two days every time I make it. So there you go, I will just stop there and not bombard you with more photos. I really love this cake it’s easy and convenient if you are not in the mood for too many steps. This ONE BOWL APPLE CAKE looks amazing and so simple that even a buffoon in the kitchen like me can easily make this tasty treat for Darcee & I! She loves apple pie and this looks perfect for a cool fall evening!
Looks so yummy! My daughter Kara makes mug cakes quite frequently in the microwave. This apple cake in a bowl looks simple and delicious, we will have to try it!

I love apple anything. Until last year I grew my own apples so I have a ton of recipes I’ve found online. None are close to this one so I can’t wait to head to the farmers market for fresh apples when they’re in season to try this.
