Autumn is here,

Hello everyone, can you imagine it’s November? I know time has really flown, we were just melting a while ago with all the summer heat and wishing the cold weather would hurry up. Anyway, today I am back with some comfort, colour and cosy Autumn decor I am loving. This season, I am on a mission to revamp my living room since we are due for some new sofas and just overall a new look for a change. Also I have noticed that my tastes have really changed and I am more into bolder decor and more of prints other than plain all grey or white. So what do you think I am loving? Well here are some of the things I have been looking at and planning to incorporate in my home.

1. Let’s go into the blue.

I know this is really bold but I am so thinking of getting myself some nice dark blue sofas for a change. I have always been the white and grey type of girl, mostly just neutrals but then all of a sudden, I am wanting to experiment and just change everything. You only live once right? So these are some of the sofas I have been looking at and just the colour blue has really been calling out to me.COMFORT, COLOUR AND COSY AUTUMN DECOR I AM LOVING.

2. Patterns and textures

I am now into patterns and luxury velvet ones to be exact. I would love to have hints of velvet pillows with some patterns on them to add more luxury to the whole feel and make everything blend together. Also when it comes to wall art, I am thinking of like a feature wall to add some texture, but it has to be removable since we are renters and don’t need any hustle from the landlords. Never in my wildest dreams did I ever think I would like any feature walls since I hate wallpaper but I guess I will stick to mirrors or paintings for now.

3. Metals

I am so loving coppers and golds, be it vases, or frames with metallic frames, I think they would make great pieces for cosy Autumn decor. Coffee tables that have a metallic sheen or marble to them, I think it makes everything feel so warm, welcoming and cosy hence the comfort aspect of it all. I do have a black shelf but I am thinking that once I change everything, I am going to spray paint it gold or copper not sure yet. Also my tables are changing from wooden squares to more circular versions.

4. Layers upon layers

Here is where my recent love of throws comes in, I want throws all over like to be able to layer stuff effortlessly and still not make it look excessive. As much as I am talking about the living room, I will need to add more throws in the bedrooms too. It seems like my shopping list is increasing by the minute, I sure hope I am not all over in my head and going overboard, I will be just adding tits and bits here and there, “HOPEFULLY”. Also I still have to keep in mind that I have two boys who to be honest, anything on the sofa or the bed is for playing or biting when it comes to my 6 month old, so nothing is decor to them. Tell me, how do you guys handle interior design and your kids, any tips are welcomed.

That’s it my lovelies, until I figure out what else I need to add in my living room that will be it. Already ordered sofas and maybe after I finish everything, I might do a mini tour on how everything turned out, keep in mind I may or may not have ordered the exact things in the pictures so it will be a surprise let’s just hope my family is on board with my vision and don’t crush it before it even begins.

  10. I love a great blue couch and that shade of blue is my absolute FAVORITE! 🙂 Also, I am all about throws. I keep the house cool in the winter so I can snuggle up under a throw blanket!

  15. We aren’t one to really change our decor with the seasons – that would be WAY too much for us to handle, LOL! We can barely figure out what to do with our house in general, ahahah!

  17. I’m really loving the metal trends today. I think it really makes the space feel more sophisticated and elegant. I love fall colors as well. Blue is def my fav.

  31. At this season, it is very comforting to some time in a cozy sofa with those grey blankets and hot cocoa drink. I like those wall mirrors!
