Hello Everyone,

I hope you are all having a good day and had a great start of the week. I decided to embark on a water fast and don’t even know what made me do such a thing, I haven’t cheated or fainted yet so let’s hope I make it through. Anyway since I was thinking of doing my hair this week, it made me realise how my routine has changed. If you read my post here on how to have healthy natural hair then you know what it takes. Since then, my hair has gone through a lot from pregnancy to colour damage to lots of unnecessary trims. I am so excited for this post today, I hope you’re all doing great and had a lovely weekend. Speaking of the weekend, I went for my usual grocery shopping in aldi and after lots of rummaging through all those baskets and trying to find where the special buys are, I ended up finding some skincare products which to be honest, really looked good. I am sure you have all heard about the Lacura brand in aldi and how some end up selling out, that’s why I am loving the aldi lacura skincare products and why you should too. Hi there,

I hope you all had a great weekend and are excited that the snow has finally stopped falling and keeping us indoors. I am so ready for spring to get here and just to have a bit of warmth. Today I am here to tell you all about my current skincare obsessions, in my skincare routine I told you how I was into Korean skincare and as much as I tried to reduce some of the steps, I have gone back to following all of them and I am loving how my skin feels and looks this time around. My skin is not perfect but we have to start from somewhere right? And since I can be a “product hoarder”, I rather tell you what I have been using lately before adding any additional products which I know is going to happen.

Hello Everyone,

I hope that you all had a lovely weekend and are ready to rinse and repeat. Last week was all over the place for me, my son is starting school and I’m happy for him and nervous at the same time too. So since it’s going to be school errands every single day, I really don’t have the energy to be making my hair every single day and that’s where my protective styles come in and rescue my life for a month or two. Natural hair is not a joke and the struggle is real, so giving my hair a rest from all the twist outs and flat twists is necessary. I hope you are all doing great this fabulous day, after a long weekend once again, I am back with another post for you guys. So today I have a diy post for all the ladies out there who need their nails done without the hustle of visiting a salon. Imagine how much money you can save by doing your own nails and it doesn’t even take that long plus it’s not rocket science. I usually do my own nails and I have never got them done professionally like really go to a nail salon and have them done because I saw horror stories on how some nails break and it looked really painful. To avoid that, I choose to do my own and you can too, this is how you can have beautiful diy nails at home.

Hello Everyone,

I know it’s been a while from my last post but I am back now. This week has been a little bit hectic with my son getting scarlet fever and me an infection following that, not an interesting week at all, I am still on medication but all will be fine. In my post on my skin care routine I mentioned how I was going to start trying out other products that I had wanted to and after using them for sometime now, I really like how they make my skin feel and help with my blemishes and hormonal breakouts. These are the beauty products I’m loving this month.

Hello everyone, I hope that your long weekend went well and are now ready for another week. We all know that women in general like looking good and our hair is a big part of our image. I have natural hair and I try to take care of it as much as I can from my washing routines, deep conditioning, moisturising and protective styling. All that always relies on having hair products that are staples and work well to achieve healthy hair. Natural hair is no easy job I tell you, from having routines and schedules to take care of it, only the right products can help make your life easier. These are my current natural hair products.

1.SHAMPOO

I am not going to bore you by saying too much here, I usually shampoo my scalp most of the time but if my hair has too much build up, then I also do the rest of the hair. For my shampoo, I use the Shea Moisture Jamaican black castor oil shampoo which I had put on my current January favourites here, but I had to use it a couple of times to see whether I love it or not and I must say it is a keeper. It cleanses perfectly and leaves your feeling clean but not squeaky clean which I hate the feeling of.

I hope that you all had a great weekend and are ready for this week. Today was one of those days where I woke up all confused and a bit down which is not a good feeling at all. After minutes of trying out positive thinking which didn’t work by the way, I decided to destruct myself and just go ahead and clean my makeup brushes which I had been ignoring for some time now. Don’t you just love having clean makeup brushes until you need to clean them all over again then wonder why you torture yourself, it’s all for the love of makeup people.
