Since we are in another round of lockdown and I haven’t posted on here in like forever, I decided to go ahead and pop in real quick and update some of my old recipes. I made these quite a lot during the first lockdown and they always go down a treat. This is a simple basic biscuit recipe which you can make like literally in minutes and won’t have to worry whether or not you’re going to mess up and they always turn out great.

Finally we have come to the end, I would have continued up to day 7 but l decided to stop on day 5 and give it a rest since I still have other posts scheduled unrelated to food and are long overdue. I have really enjoyed posting everyday this week and as much as it wasn’t easy with kids and life in general, I managed. Also I call them recipe weeks for a reason which pushes me to be able to do them. Guess who? Yes, it’s me again and the week is almost over. We are on day 4 and I am super proud to have been able to do this. Anyway how are you all doing today? I hope all is ok and you’re all getting on just fine. The heat is apparently starting to check in and today was not that comfortable, I mean I do like warmth but not scorching if you know what I mean. I thought tomorrow would be better but apparently it’s going to be even higher than today, I guess outdoor cooling activities are in order. If you remember a while ago, banana bread was everywhere and I don’t know why but I also jumped on that wagon and made this simple perfect moist banana bread. Now I don’t know about you but I was never one to be adventurous with coming up with new meals or trying to change out one to be something totally different, but guess what? I totally have it in me and I am liking it. “What do you do when you have left over burger patties?” Cook up some burgers or change it all up and use the meat to make some delicious cheeseburger quesadillas. We are almost there, it’s day 5 and another recipe is coming your way. So apparently we are going to be on lock down for another 3 weeks, at this point I don’t even know what to think anymore. I used to complain on how school runs were getting difficult and tiresome but its times like these that I’d totally love to walk for 30 minutes and pick up my son. How are you all coping by the way? Unless I am the only one overreacting and I have no idea. My baby boy turns 2 this weekend and I have already seen what the terrible twos have in store for me that’s why the playground being open would totally be lifesaving or anything that doesn’t involve running around the house screaming. Well it’s me again. I hope you’re all having a great week and still surviving life indoors. As you can see I am back again and we are on day 4 people. I know you’re probably almost tired of me but hopefully not yet, let’s just finish the week then we can all take a breather and do stop by days 1,2 and 3 too. Today it’s all about the lovely avocado in my simple, fresh homemade guacamole. Guacamole can be a little bit controversial if you ask me depending on where you’re from because there’s the smooth, spicy, chunky and the crazy version with other ingredients added to it. What I don’t get is the people who hate avocado, like really? It hasn’t done anything wrong and I just love it. Anyway, this is my simple, fresh homemade guacamole recipe. Hey, it’s me again and we are on day 3 of this recipe week. I hope you’re all doing great and that you’ve already seen my day 1 and 2 for this week. So what’s on today? Let’s talk tuna, funny enough I am still not a fan of tuna on it’s own until something is done to it. I can have it in a pasta salad, with some dressing over some salad leaves but never on it’s own.
