I shop on amazon for almost everything from beauty, hair accessories, kitchen gadgets you name it. Let’s talk about skincare for a minute, nowadays the beauty industry is on blast and with all the products coming out, it becomes very tempting to want to try them out but then comes the issue of the cost and just makes you wonder how a small jar could cost that much. So today I am writing this post for you skincare lovers to show you affordable skincare products on Amazon.

It’s been a while,
I know guys and I am sorry I’ve been missing for a minute or two but I am now back and feels good to be at it again. I forgot how travelling makes me feel so exhausted and worn out by the time I come back. I mean all the packing and preparations was exciting and all until I came back to reality again. My son has always wanted to swim in the sea and I was happy that we were able to plan a trip there. I decided not do any blogging while away and to just have a break from it, relax and enjoy. So here is my visit to Croatia holiday roundup plus photos of course.
This was my second trip this year and unlike my last one here which I went on my own, this time around my family had to be there because if you read my back at it again post here, you know that I lived in Croatia for four years, had my son there and his grandparents always need to see him once in a while.
As much as I like being organised, there are moments where it get’s out of hand and I end up going back to square one and restarting all over again. Most of the time it’s because I haven’t decluttered for a while and that goes wrong real quick and doing it after a while does help to feel that you’re getting a hand on what’s in your home. Plus once you remove all the clutter, it really does feel good and makes your home cleaner and your life much more easier. That’s why today am here to tell you how to declutter your home.
First thing you need to do is analyse what you have around your house, go into each room and see what you have and know which room to start with. If you were organised before and you just declutter once in a while, then you probably already know what’s in every room. I showed you a while back how I get organised and how it has made my life so much better. Once you’ve perused through each room, we now get into the nitty gritty and here are questions you will have to answer in the process.
I hope you’re all fine and having a good start of the week. Another week calls for another recipe post for you to enjoy. When it comes to sandwiches, I love everything about them from being able to create my own and also having fails along the way, but that’s what makes them fun right? Just in case you missed my mandazi recipe, find it here. Today I am going to share with you a sandwich recipe which I usually like making from time to time and is really simple. The best part about them is that these are open-faced sandwiches and don’t take that long to make. This is how to make my ham, cheese and mustard sandwiches.
I hope you are all doing great this fabulous day, after a long weekend once again, I am back with another post for you guys. So today I have a diy post for all the ladies out there who need their nails done without the hustle of visiting a salon. Imagine how much money you can save by doing your own nails and it doesn’t even take that long plus it’s not rocket science. I usually do my own nails and I have never got them done professionally like really go to a nail salon and have them done because I saw horror stories on how some nails break and it looked really painful. To avoid that, I choose to do my own and you can too, this is how you can have beautiful diy nails at home.
Hi guys, I hope you had a fabulous weekend and that your week is going great. When I was grocery shopping during the weekend I realised how far I’ve come from doing any shopping in general. You see, before I would go into a store and pick something up because it either looks good or maybe I wanted to try it out without even giving it a thought whether or not I really needed it. I still have a juicer which resides in a cupboard because I thought I would be into juicing at the time. Nowadays, I’ve rectified that by knowing that impulse buying was the culprit and was costing me money. So onto the question is impulse buying costing you money?
The answer is YES
I know that sometimes you might really want something once you see it and I also know that unlike me, there some people who would like to have five sweaters of the same kind but in different colours. Don’t get me wrong but I just think that it’s a waste of money and would rather spend that money on something else. How can you fix that?
When I talk about staying organised, I mean know exactly what you have and don’t have around your home and if there is anything that you need to replace. Once your organisation is on point, you will less likely want to get something on the whim when you are out. So remember to get it together first by having an organisation plan. There’s no point of having three kettles just because they would look nice on your counter. To see how I get organised, find here.
2.HAVE A BUDGET
Impulse buying usually happens when you think or assume that you need something and not knowing it will cost you. To avoid that, have a monthly or weekly budget for everything, your groceries, home products, just everything. Once you have a budget in place, be tight with it and stick to it. When I started budgeting, I failed many times because I didn’t stick to it and ended up struggling when I really wanted something and it wasn’t good, you need to sacrifice all the temptations and just do it. A budget planner will really help if you’re just starting out.
I know it’s been a while from my last post but I am back now. This week has been a little bit hectic with my son getting scarlet fever and me an infection following that, not an interesting week at all, I am still on medication but all will be fine. In my post on my skin care routine I mentioned how I was going to start trying out other products that I had wanted to and after using them for sometime now, I really like how they make my skin feel and help with my blemishes and hormonal breakouts. These are the beauty products I’m loving this month.
Hey guys, I hope you had a fabulous weekend. My weekend was full of spring cleaning, cooking and lots of playing with my son which is practically what happens every other weekend. My son really loves pasta and anything you can throw into pasta he will be up for it. I decided to make mac and cheese because his milk allergy has started going away and I was excited that he can at least start eating some cheese and desserts which he missed out on when he was younger. If you missed my Gousto trial, do find it here. This is my delicious baked mac and cheese recipe and I hope you love it as much as we did.

When I started blogging, which is not that long ago, I had to learn a lot of things really fast and correct my mistakes along the way. I still don’t know everything about blogging but I like getting to figure out stuff and learning even much more from other bloggers. Once you get into this blogging world, you realise real quick that you are not the only one and that some have been doing this gig for quite some time which may make you feel discouraged and wonder how you can also get out there and join other bloggers at the top. This is how to get noticed as a blogger.
We’ve all had about this consistency, and yes people it is key. If you want people to know who you are and continue coming back to your content, then you need to have a plan on how you will be consistent in your writing and keep at it. I am not saying write a post everyday, I tried that and ended up just making everything even harder for myself. So I would suggest you create a schedule and have certain days for writing, planning and publishing. The more consistent you are the better for your readers to come back.
